Q: Can you list 3 killer features of your project that make it ahead of upcoming competitors?
Daobee will be IOTAs first “Free2Earn” game! This means it will be a free-to-play browser game that is accessible and inviting to everyone, even to those who don’t even have a crypto wallet! However in order to EARN by selling your NFTs one must first connect a crypto-wallet. This step-wise accessibility will bring in completely new audiences into the crypto and IOTA space.
Daobee will also be IOTAs first “Layer-2 NFT Utility” provider. It will connect the entire IOTA NFT ecosystem by granting partnering NFTs extra utility on Daobee! You may even already own NFTs from partnering projects that will boost your gaming experience.
How many game modes are planned, and what will they look like?
We plan to start with two main game modes: Drawing Mode & Texting Mode
In both modes players create NFTs together in little art-creation mini-games. These games run on timers in which players need to post their best next version of a picture or next sentence of a growing text while others vote on the winner. The game continues a set number of rounds or until the players agree to end it.
However, the realm of collaborative art-creation games is wide! After initial release we plan to add more game-modes, for example collaborative music-creation or other kinds of drawing modes.
Q: My understanding is that the game will roughly be split into three phases: drawing or texting, voting and bidding. How long will these phases last? Will they be run after another or could they be run in parallel?
The drawing- and voting phase of the game will be identical: Players draw/write and vote at the same time under the same running clock! However the creator of said game can freely choose how long the timer should run: From super-fast meme- and shitpost creation games to very long, slow moving games that try to create truely intricate art.
Q: How do we trigger the dragon in #adventure on Discord?
Type .a in the adventure channel, if you are lucky a dragon appears.
Q: What strategy will you use to promote the NFTs created by your users, because there needs to be a thriving aftermarket if we are going to keep creating and buying?
Users will not just create art, memes and stories with emotional and collectors value, but all NFTs created on Daobee will also be utility-NFTs that unlock features on the platform.
Q: How can the daobee fly with so tiny wings?
It’s the power of love, friendship, community and fairy dust. It’s very cute!
Q: What is Daobee’s view on moderation of creative processes?
We will have site-wide admins that will enforce legality of all content. Daobee is a german platform and we will need to enforce german law on the platform. However within Daobee sub-pages, called hyves (similar to subreddits on Reddit) users can decide on which content they will allow on their space.
Q: What are the plans of how Daobee will generate income in the future? Do portions go to a community fund or wallet?
Daobbe will have three main income streams, coming from in-game feature purchases, a 50% share of all earnings from NFT auctions and potentially ad revenue.
