On a vibrant Friday, June 6th, the tech community gathered in Singapore to witness the culmination of the first-ever IOTA APAC Moveathon.After a dynamic nine-week period of progress featuring over 459 participants and 40 project submissions,this event shone a spotlight on groundbreaking applications built on IOTA’s Move VM and EVM.
Introduction to Excellence: Top Achievers of the Event
Over $150,000 was disbursed across various categories during this innovative assembly, celebrating both ingenuity and technical excellence.
Premier Achievement – HyperAgile ($35,000)
HyperAgile rose to prominence by effectively integrating Middleware-as-a-Service with IOTA’s advanced blockchain technology.This platform revolutionizes warehouse operations by creating digital twins of robots for better inventory management through blockchain records. Its unique kiosk-based design allows efficient robot task management within warehouses employing multisignature and randomization techniques offered by IOTA.
Remarkable Second Place – Figo ($25,000)
Figo’s decentralized application captivates by converging physical collectibles with digital tokens using NFC technology for minting Dynamic NFTs within the collectors’ ecosystem. Their platform not only organizes but also gamifies collectible experiences making them more engaging through smart contract-enabled digital interactions.
Innovative Third Place – AToIoTA ($15,000)
AToIoTA specializes in AI-driven financial strategies optimized for DeFi environments. By merging high-level AI-analysis tools with user-amiable features for asset tracking and portfolio management, AToIoTA empowers users with actionable insights into crypto market trends around-the-clock.
Theme-Based Awards Recognizing Specialized Excellence
The competition also highlighted top projects across specific themes:
- payments & Consumer Applications: Figo claimed an additional $8,000.
- Tokenization & Global Trade: HyperAgile added another $8,000.
- Advanced DeFi (DeF(A)i): Omneon secured an award of $8,000.
- Infrastructure Innovation: OG Builders were recognized with $8,000.
Community Engagement: People’s Choice Award
an audience favorite was Zephyr – an e-commerce solution facilitating seamless transactions via Web3 technologies within the IOTA EVM framework catered notably toward retail payment solutions through POS integrations as well as secure trade environments for both tangible and intangible assets.
