What is $RUST Token?

The $RUST token is the bot-tastic utility token for the Rusty Robot Country Club ecosystem! It’s an epic token that is your gateway to all thing Rusty. The primary purpose of $RUST is to support and facilitate the accessibility of future RRCC releases and entry into the world of the Rusty Robot Country Club for anyone and everyone.

After the close of the main NFT collection sale all future economic activity within the RRCC will only be redeemable using the $RUST token. $RUST Token has a hard limit supply of 2,000,000,000 tokens with distribution solely through airdrop and community reward activities.

(Although, the token will be available on the secondary market for trade and through liquidity and staking pools operating on dApps such as ShimmerSea, TangleSwap, IotaBee, etc.)

The Team Behind $RUST

The $RUST Token is the creation of the Rusty Robot Country Club team, who, for over a year, have been building out a community project focusing on celebrating creative culture. A project of firsts, the art, music, and creative outputs from the team support the message of inclusivity and the uniqueness of our individuality.

$RUST Utility The purpose of $RUST is to decentralise the economy surrounding the Rusty Robot Country Club and its future ecosystem, as well as providing a community token that can be used openly within the IOTA ecosystem. Providing opportunity for access and utility moving forward:

$RUST will provide holders with access to exclusive opportunities, creative projects, products, games, events, features, services, and more

Holders of $RUST may also stake the token, exchange it, and use it to conduct transactions within the wider IOTA and Shimmer ecosystems

Tokenomics

$RUST is an ERC20 token issued on the Shimmer network with a fixed supply of 2,000,000,000 tokens distributed over a 24-month period via linear vesting.

There will be no public or private sale and the entire supply will be distributed through airdrops, a fair liquidity event on ShimmerSea Dex, along with community engagement and reward programs.

Distribution

78% of tokens will be directly distributed to the community through airdrops, rewards, staking, liquidity reward system, and other engagement processes.

13% of tokens will be distributed to the RRCC ecosystem fund which will support new ventures and the continued expansion of the project and community.

9% of tokens will be distributed to creators, musicians, artists, early contributors, partners, and the team.

Distribution Breakdown

17% Community Airdrops

As community is at the centre of the RRCC the community will receive the largest portion of the initial distribution over a 6-month period of airdrops, to ensure a steady release of the initial token supply.

61% Community Rewards and Distribution programs

Split between NFT and Token staking pools, liquidity mining rewards, and community promotional rewards, the main release of tokens will be reserved for distribution that rewards the engaged community, with a slow release over 24months.

13% RRCC Ecosystem Fund

To continue the expansion and evolution of the RRCC, the ecosystem wallet will receive a portion of the distribution to support the continued creation, development, and marketing of future creative ventures vested over 13 months.

9% Founders and Core Contributors

There is a global team of creative minds, conceptualists, developers, and partners building out the Rusty Robot Country Club and their efforts will be rewarded with a small distribution vested over 12 months.

Upon the completion of the 24-month vesting period the total supply of $RUST will be released into the ecosystem and the full decentralisation of the RRCC economy will be realised.

Benefits to RRCC Holders

There will only ever be 11,111 Rusty Robot NFTs which provide the initial entry into the $RUST economy. As the initial access point to the $RUST token, the holding and utility of RRCC NFTs for staking provides a valuable entry point for any NFT holder.

The token will be initially distributed via a community fair liquidity event, holder airdrops, and NFT staking rewards, to be shortly followed with additional token staking and further liquidity mining. As the sole holders of $RUST, all NFT holders will have a front row seat in gaining access to the future creative releases, rewards, bonuses, and features within the RRCC ecosystem, as well as being able to make use of the secondary market through swaps and exchanges on various dApp platforms.

All future RRCC interactions will only be redeemable with $RUST — which also means, all NFT holders have priority access to releases as the primary holders of the $RUST token

NFT Staking

Like you, every Rusty is unique. Each NFT has a wallet value within their metadata which equates to the amount of $RUST that robot can stake in a special 10x reward pool, exclusive to RRCC NFT holders.

OG Bonuses

The initial release of the OG Collection of 1,011 NFTs from the RRCC was a revolutionary event in the history of the IOTA Network. Following on from the inspirational work of teams like IOTABOTS and Tangle Labs, the RRCC OG Collection became the first ever pfp NFT Sale on IOTA which was embraced by the community with the true IOTA community spirit and a positive attitude towards the future.

The OG community have helped to shape and pave the way for the RRCC to create a solid foundation to build upon and as such will earn extra special bonus of 2x airdrops and reward opportunities from their NFTs.

The Future

With the initial release of $RUST token a new feature will be added to the RRCC website, the Rusty Marketplace. This store will be an entry point into the future creative releases from the RRCC as well as expandable community features over time.

Future NFT Comics, Music, Collectibles, Merch, DeFi features, Games, and more will all be accessible here, solely through the utility of the $RUST token.

The Marketplace contract will incur a royalty distribution system that allocates any $RUST payments across a number of different avenues such as staking, liquidity, eco-system treasury, community rewards, and more, that will maintain the longevity of the economy and other future proposals.
