Meet the Lumis

ShimmerSea Community Event

… in the Octopus Garden, just behind the warm springs, there is a small passage in the reef. A wide cave opens behind the passage in which its own small universe, the ShimmerSea was formed. The warm waves of the volcanic springs flow through the inner walls of the cave where the luminescent seaweed, the Lum, has settled. Lum forms the basic food for the small cave inhabitants, the Lumis. The strong ingredients of the lum grass have not only made the Lumis glow in the dark, but have made the Lumis a funny little folk, who live carefree into the day and who are perhaps not taken seriously by everyone.

What are the Lumis?

The Lumis is the first NFT project to be released by the TangeSea Team specifically for ShimmerSea. There are 3333 unique Lumis in total. As the Lumis are home to the deep caves of ShimmerSea, they know all the hidden places and thus will grant you access to special staking pools. The pools will only be available after the ShimmerSea launch. But be warned: Lumis are not for sale! Only Tanglers that are able to impress the Lumis will find a friend in them, willing to share the secrets about ShimmerSea.

Why Lumis?

ShimmerSea is the first dApp that the TangleSea Team will be launching. With Shimmer being the staging network for IOTA, it is also the first time we can showcase what we can deliver to the IOTA ecosystem as a team. However, in order to get here we had huge support from everyone of you over the past year. You have been part of our community from the early days and the Lumis are a way for us to say thank you! You gave us the energy to continue building on our dApps through late evenings and long weekends!
