Bringing Security Services to the IOTA Ecosystem
2022 is the most expensive year for web3 hacks and exploits by far. That’s according to the Web3 Security Quarterly Report for Q2 2022, which reports that over $2 billion has been lost to hacks and exploits in Q1 and Q2 alone. If we want to buck this trend for 2023, securing and auditing web3 projects is paramount. For this reason, we’re happy to welcome to Touchpoint Open Builders Program Zokyo, a security auditing firm and venture studio that builds, funds, and secures crypto, DeFi, and NFT companies. With the aim of helping secure and value projects building on the IOTA ecosystem, Zokyo will bring its security services to Touchpoint Open Builders Program participants, including penetration testing, infrastructure testing, and smart contract and protocol auditing services.
Zokyo (zo-ki-yo) secures, funds, and builds Web3 companies. We are at the forefront of securing crypto and Web3 initiatives across chains, clouds, and networks. At its core, Zokyo is a technology company building products and services to support the Web3 networks that they invest in.
Since 2019, we’ve taken a ground-up approach to securing, architecting, building, and funding organizations and products leveraging blockchain technology: before we start an audit, we work closely with our clients’ development teams to understand their business goals, use cases, and so on. Similarly, when we work closely with founders, we don't just concentrate on the technology but also help them with tokenomics, game theory, and more. And combine crypto/Web3 and cybersecurity research with a real-world attacker mentality to reduce risk and fortify code.
Sitting at the junction of security and innovation, we are differentiated by our blockchain sector specialism and a network of operational resources. Our systematic yet customized value-creation process and strong execution capabilities accelerate company growth and drive security and operational best practices through a partnership-driven, long-term-oriented model.
Zokyo was founded by Hartej Sawhney, co-founder of Hosho: Find out more about the team on our website.
The emergence of Shimmer gives us a great opportunity to support and add value to the IOTA ecosystem.
As a Web3 security and smart contract auditing firm, Zokyo will support Shimmer and the wider Touchpoint ecosystem with the necessary resources they need to securely create and scale their operation and future product launches.”
We’re excited to welcome Zokyo’s auditing expertise to Touchpoint and the wider IOTA ecosystem. And that’s not all: We’re also excited to announce that TangleSwap will be the first project building on Shimmer to be audited by Zokyo in preparation for their expected launch within days of the ShimmerEVM Mainnet launch. Zokyo joins the Touchpoint Open Builders Program, offering participants a community of like-minded builders, direct access to funding, experts, knowledge, and general support to launch and scale the next generation of decentralized applications and infrastructure on the Shimmer networks. Assembly is a scalable multi-chain network for sharded, composable smart contracts. It will deliver flexibility, scalability, and interoperability, and is a smart contract network for mainstream innovation and mass adoption. It does so by offering inexpensive, fast, and secure smart contracts, trustless and feeless smart contract interoperability, full customization and composability of dApps, compatibility with Ethereum virtual machine, and other benefits.
In Assembly, anyone can launch their own smart contract chains with the flexibility to customize fee and incentive structures. The chains are overseen by permissionless and decentral dynamic validator committees of nodes that execute and validate smart contracts; these validators are assigned to their chains by a root chain through a marketplace, and the validators are rewarded with the network’s native token, ASMB.
Every project that participates in Touchpoint is given the opportunity to introduce itself in its own words. Statements made by projects are not verified by Touchpoint, Shimmer, Assembly, or the IOTA Foundation and should not be taken as an endorsement. Individuals are advised to always conduct their own due diligence when engaging with any crypto projects.
